Owens, Dorothy J. “Reid”, 95, died Saturday, January 5, 2008. Self-employed Seamstress and retired sales consulting Hancock fabric store employee. Services will be Wednesday, 10:00 am, January 9, 2008, visitation with the family, 5:00pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, January 8, 2008 both at Downing and Lahey East Mortuary. Survivors include: Husband, George; daughter, Shirley (the late Robert) Anderson of Bolingbrook, Il.; step-sons, David Reid of Portland, Oregon, Greg Owens of Wichita, Randy Owens of Cheney, Ks, brother; Jack McDaniel of Ulysses, Ks grandson; Jeff (Brenda) Anderson of Bolingbrook, Il, Granddaughter; Kathy (James) Copeland of Van Buren, Mo; great grandsons Matthew Anderson, Fabien Jandreau; great granddaughter, Sarah Anderson, step-grandchildren; Amanda (Brian) Jaworsky, Daniel Owens. Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice Care of Kansas, 808 S. Hillside, Wichita, Ks 67211.
Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, January 9, 2008 with Visitation with the family, 5 to 7pm Tuesday both at Downing Lahey East Mortuary.
