Dr. Edward H. Siems, 75, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020. Memorial Service, Saturday, September 26, at 11 a.m., at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Service will be Live Streamed here, at www.dlwichita.com, by clicking "Tribute Wall," then the "Watch Now" button inside of the Gold "Live Webcast" box. Edward served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era, was in the U.S. Public Health Service and practiced dentistry for the Wichita Clinic for over 20 years. He was an avid traveler and traveled extensively to see many parts of the world. He loved playing golf and most of all loved being a grandpa. Preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Edward H. Siems, Sr.; brother, Randy Siems, and sister, Susan Sandwick. Survivors: wife, Deborah; children, Elena (Oleg) Siems-Ryazhenova of London, England, Alexandra Siems of Austin, TX, Paul (Luciana) Siems of Boca Raton, FL, Brandon Twist, Amy Baker-Twist both of Wichita; daughter-in-law, Amanda Twist of Wichita ; grandchildren, Eli, Ian, Darina, Baylee, Lucas, Rylee, Nikolas, Sarah, Nehem and Otto; brother, Bill (Shelley) Siems of Minneapolis, MN.

You taught me to play tennis, helped me with math homework, came to all my shows, flew around the world to visit me, were the first one to meet my future husband, the first one to learn when I was pregnant and you loved my children more than words can express.   3. We were both patients and colleagues with Dr. Siems at Wichita Clinic. He took marvelous care of us and our children. There never was a kindler, gentler, more caring dentist. We will miss his professional skill, his gracious good nature, and his friendly sense of humor. Our condolences to Ed’s family.

  4. Ed is & will always be missed by us all beyond words! He was such a Wonderful, kind and caring Man, Doctor, Husband to my Dear Sister, Father and Grandfather. His wife, Family & 2 precious dogs were his whole world and we all knew how much he loved them all! I will Dearly miss him and the good times & laughs we had together!   6. Ed attended water aerobics the past few years and was a font of wisdom and friendship for so many of us who enjoyed his humor and tales of trips to far away lands. I will miss his smile. Condolences to Deb and his family. He loved you all so much. You brought him great joy.
