I’m sorry to see this! Back in May 2021, I took my daughters to Cowtown for “Little House on the Prairie” day that included a fantastic depiction of Laura Ingalls Wilder by Dr. McLemore.
Dr. McLemore brought Laura to life and helped humanize and make memorable things like Laura playing with her corn cob dolls and facts about the size of their cabin through her historical re-enactment.
Condolences to her family.
Sincerely,

I will always have such fond memories of the time shared in Southeast High School orchestra and Wichita Youth Symphony with Laura Moats McLemore. She was an accomplished cellist and truly enjoyed the music she played. Mr. Luttrell was such a fun orchestra Director.
I will always remember the Facebook posts Laura would post about her day trips with Ken. They truly shared such a special bond and enjoyed so many activities together.
What I will remember most about Laura is her unwavering faith in God. She was such an example to all who knew her. She inspired me so much, especially throughout her battle with ALS. I will miss her as will so many others whose lives she touched.
Dr. McLemore was my principal at Lincoln for my last year there. She was so kind and supportive. I had a few scares while pregnant that year and had a difficult time with my older son in daycare during that time. She never hesitated to support me when I had to leave for an emergency or while I cried in her office.
I am saddened to hear of her passing. May you be comforted by your memories and knowing how many people she touched with her work. She loved what she did and her legacy is proof.
Im so sorry to hear of Laura’s passing. When I was a new principal, we were in the same feeder pattern (her elementary fed into my middle school). At that time we had regular meetings among feeder pattern principals. She was so kind and generous with her knowledge and time and was a loving mentor to me while I learned the ropes of being a principal.

How in the world can I share a memory of our Laura. As her Aunt I have shared memories with her for 62 years. My heat is broken thinking about life without her.
She loved to spoil her mom (my big sister) and me by taking us on many trips to Branson and lots of day trips. A couple years ago she asked Glenda and me if we’d like to go on a day trip to Hutch. We went to a fun lunch and then went downtown to shop. Before we got out of the car to shop she gave each of us a gift card for $50. That was so Laura. We had a mutual enjoyment of pretty jewelry. Lucinda’s is having their annual jewelry sale this month and I believe it will be the very first one that Laura will not be in the front of the line waiting to shop. Our holidays will never be the same; she will always be in my heart. Best of all is that Laura was a Christian and shared her faith with others. Thank you Laura for being my niece for 62 years.
Little cousin I have such fond memories of you when you came to Colorado for a visit. It was such a joyous time when your parents, Kelly, and you would come. I always wished that all my girl cousins and I didn’t live in two different states. You were such a talented person. The birthday party Laura planned for her grandmother’s 100th was awesome. I am so glad I was able to attend. I will always remember your beautiful smile. May you rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord. Love your cousin, Pam Thurow, Greeley Colorado.
Blessed be Dr Laura’s memory. She is missed among her LauraPalooza friends. May she rest in the peace of Christ, and may God hold all of you in the palm of his hand.
Terrible teacher. Bullied students. Glad she is no longer alive to be an insult to the education system. Just goes to show that anyone can get a doctorate degree and still be a complete idiot.
yeah as a ex student im glad that i just had her for one year
