Allen, Dwayne E., 89, retired farmer and carpenter, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Interment 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 30 at Old Mission Cemetery. Memorial Service 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 30, at Fairmount United Church of Christ. Preceded in death by parents, George and Bessie Allen, brothers, George W. and Verl K, and sisters, Darlene Thompson and Marilyn Bartlett. Survivors: wife, Jean (Brees) Allen; sons, Larry Allen (Sheryl) of Wichita and Gary Allen (Janet) of Beloit, KS; grandchildren, Andy, Eric and Trent; brother, Dwight Allen of Wichita; sister, Patricia Lister of Prescott, AZ.
