Mitchell, Gladys, E., 90, passed away Friday, January 19, 2007. Service 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 23, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Born October 28, 1916 in Booneville, AR to John and Cora Owens. Gladys was the cashier for Browns Grill East and West for 35 years. She was a loving grandmother and much loved great-grandmother. Preceding her in death, her husband of 60 years, James T. Mitchell, two brothers and four sisters. Survivors: two sons, Michael (Sheryl) and Gregory of Wichita; three grandchildren, Andrea (Doug) Drinnen, Cole Mitchell of Wichita and Jeffrey (Jody) Mitchell of Lawrence, KS; eight great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Total Homecare and Hospice, 250 W. Douglas, Wichita, KS, 67202.
