Earl Warren Johnson

Johnson, Earl Warren, 88, founder of E. W. Johnson Construction, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009. The service will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 30, at Mt Vernon Presbyterian Church. Earl was involved in commercial construction in the state of Kansas for more than 50 years. He was past president of Associated General Contractors of Kansas and was a Lt. and pilot in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn. Survivors: son, Steven E. Johnson (Jan) of Wichita; daughter, Jan Parker of Wichita; sister, Lois Quinton of Aurora, CO; grandchildren, Mark Johnson (Jessica), Christie Rose (David), Brent Johnson (Erin) and Brandon Johnson; great-grandchildren, Cyan Rose, Jett Johnson and Marina Johnson. Memorials have been established with the Wichita Childrens Home, 810 N. Holyoke, Wichita, KS 67208 and Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, 3700 E. Mt. Vernon, Wichita, KS 67218.
