Edith “Edie” Fletcher, 83, retired Federal Bureau of Investigation employee, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025. Visitation with the family is 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, August 22, 2025, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary, 10515 West Maple, Wichita, Kansas. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 842 North Tyler Road, Wichita, Kansas. Graveside service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Caldwell City Cemetery, Caldwell, Kansas.

Edie is preceded by her parents, Charley and Effie Hennen; and husband, Ron Fletcher. She is survived by her daughter, Shelly (Leland) McKinley; son, Andrew (Nicole) Fletcher; grandchildren, Alexander McKinley, Elizabeth (Amir) Barnhardt, Easton Fletcher, Cohen Fletcher, Sasha (Avery) Conyers, and Hanah (Aaron) Buckles; five great grandchildren; four nephews and one niece.

A memorial has been established with Ascension Lutheran Church in the name of Edith Fletcher.
