Edna M. (Burgoyne) Koehler, 82, homemaker, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021. Rosary, 9:10 a.m.; Funeral Mass, 9:30 a.m., both Thursday, February 11, 2021, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, John and Izetta Burgoyne; husband, Gerald Koehler; sisters, Bonnie Hiebsch and Donna Brooks. Survivors: daughters, Elizabeth Christensen of Wichita, Lori (Gary Finney) Eck of Goddard, Leah Bugner of Rowlett, TX; son, John Koehler of Wichita; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Guadalupe Clinic, 940 S. St. Francis, Wichita, KS 67211. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.
To the Koehler Family, I’m so sorry for your loss of your Mother,Grandmother, & Great Grandmother. I loved her with all my heart & enjoyed our weekly phone conversations. Edna, to me, was a special person. Fun to be around, loving, helpful and just an all around lady! Edna you will be missed not only by me but by many, many people!
