Edward Rodney Lahmann

Edward Rodney Lahmann, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at home with his family by his side. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Tuesday, April 22, 2025; Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, April 23, 2025, both at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Graveside Service will follow at Kensington Gardens. Edward was born in Halltown, MO on October 3, 1936 to Paul and Opal Lahmann, who precede him in death. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Buster, Teddy, Jimmy, Marlene, and Janice. Edward was married to Patricia Perry on January 9, 1954 in Springfield, MO, she also precedes him in death. He was a family man, retired from Boeing, and loved to fix up and then sell cars. Survived by his children, Eddy (Barbara) Lahmann, Sherry (David) Spears, Joe (Rosanne) Lahmann, Brenda (Scott) Wilhite; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Glenda Roscoe. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
