Loebsack, Edwin G. “Eddie”, 86, passed away December 25, 2010. Funeral services 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2011. Downing Lahey Mortuary East Chapel. He was a lifetime resident of Wichita. After graduating in 1942, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, served as a pilot and was a WWII Veteran. Later, he attended WSU. In 1956, Eddie started Building Spec Equipment until he retired in 1987. After his retirement, his main priority was his grandchildren. He loved to play tennis and golf and was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago White Sox. He and wife, Jane, the love of his life; traveled to many destinations and enjoyed their time together. Preceded in death by wife, Jane Beth and daughter, Dedra Ann. Survived by daughters, Jenae (Kendall) Clay of Wichita and Randy (Michael) Stech of Marysville, KS; grandchildren; Lisa Kirsch, Jay (Heather) Stech and Alexis Stech.; great-grandchildren, Natalie Rae Stech Gavin Edwards; sister, Lois Holt of Orange County, CA.   1. I will always remember your Dad as someone who made me laugh. In the last several years I would run into him at the grocery store and we always had a fun conversation. I’m sorry I couldn’t come to the service. I know it was special, because he was special!
