Downey, Elaine, 81, of Wichita, died Saturday, August 16, 2008. Private family services will be held. Survivors: children; John (Sarah) Downey of Wichita, Ks, Dianne (Gary) Gunter of Denver, Co, Marsha (Jim) Chester of Wichita, Ks, Terry (Brad) Reynolds of Golden, Co.; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Vernon. Memorial donations may be made to Catholic Care Center, 6700 E. 45th N., Bel Aire, Ks 67226. The family of Elaine will have a private family inurnment.
