Eleanor and I graduated from Peoria High School, Peoria, Il. in 1952. She was a well respected member of the class. She had positions on the school newspaper and on the yearbook. She was in a drama club, a stunt show, French Club, Latin Club, Pep Club, the Girls Athletic Association, the A Cappella Choir and on committees. Our class continues to meet on a regular basis so we have always been pleased when Eleanor would come back for special reunions. She must have been an asset to her employers and to the groups which held her membership. She was a special person with a wonderful personality delighting in making others happy. She set a good example for all of us! Shirley Hartwell Pletkovich sends her love to her family.
Eleanor and I went thru grade school and high school together in Peoria. I can recall eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches at her kitchen table on Edgehill Ct. in West Peoria when we were kids. We had a lot of great times together growing up–lots of good memories. She had a wonderful family.
