Elinor W. Jackson, 95, Retired Secretary for the Kansas Department of Transportation, died Saturday, January 7, 2017. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Elinor was involved in the American Bowling Congress, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Wichita Center for the Arts. Preceded in death by her parents, Lyell and Ethel Wolf; Husband, Bill Jackson. Survived by her Sons, William “Mike” Michael (Marie) Jackson of Manhattan, KS, Robert “Doug” Douglas (Karen) Jackson of San Jose, CA; Grandchildren, David Jackson, Karen Jackson; Great-Grandchildren, Currin and Ashlynn.
