Lee, Elizabeth Smith, died Friday, December 6, 2013. Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Congregation Emanu-El, 7011 E. Central, Wichita, KS 67206. Elizabeth was born November 18, 1940 in Dallas, TX. Most remembered for her creativity, ability to find beauty in everyone and everything, and unbelievable sense of humor and wit. Elizabeth spent her life surrounded by family, friends, and her dear pets. She loved hosting family dinners, entertaining, traveling, reading, jewelry making, crafting, and cherished her long conversations with family and friends. She lived primarily in Wichita, KS and Goshen, NY. While in New York, she owned a fine gift shop and served as President of the Goshen Chamber of Commerce. She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Robert and Katharine Carroll; and sister, Judith Showalter. She is survived by her husband, Vincent P. Lee, Jr.; siblings, Winthrop (Jill) Smith of Andover, KS; Christopher Smith of Winston, OR; children, Katharine Wallace of Andover, KS, Natalie (Kyle) Stephenson of Wichita, KS, Andrew (Rebecca) Lee of Olathe, KS, Chelsea Lee of Wichita, KS; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Congregation Emanu-El. Downing Lahey East Mortuary.
