Emily I. Rosales

Heaven received a beautiful soul on January 24, 2017, when Emily Rosales, 101 years old, went to be with the Lord. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Emily will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She passed away peacefully at home, after a long illness, with her family by her side. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish for 70 years and was a member of their Altar Society and Harvest House. Rosary, 6 p.m., Sunday, January 29, and the Funeral Mass to celebrate her life, 10 a.m., Monday, January 30, both at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Dolores Hernandez; husband, Lupe Charles Rosales; son, Richard Rosales; siblings, Alfonso and Nicolas Hernandez, Lupe Flores, Pauline Mata and Jenny Rosales. Survivors: children, Juanita (Roger) Lepe of Wichita, Loretta (Glen) Etter of NC, Charles Rosales of Wichita, Arthur (Maria) Rosales of Houston, TX; sisters, Connie Rosales and Dora Murguia of Wichita; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
