Emily Katherine Gatz, 77, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021. Visitation, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 4; Funeral Service, 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 5, both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Preceded in death by her husband, "Bill" Gatz; parents, Otis and Marie Belisle, and sister, Ramona Chambers. Survivors: children, Kent (Karol) Collins of Wichita, Stephanie (James) Thurman of Shell Knob, MO, Trish (Kevin) Shields of Wichita, Krissy (Jay) Jones of Nixa, MO; grandchildren, Chad (Michelle) McAsey, Jeremy (Teresa) McAsey, Heath (Cidnie) Collins, Kyle (Leslie) Slay, Layne (Kayla) Johnson, Beau (Cristina) Johnson, Clay Johnson, Taner Thurman, Dakota (Kristina) Thurman, Bo (Gentry) Thurman, Sydney (Blaise) Fountain, Jakob Shields, Jason Jones and Kate Jones; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob (Randy) Belisle, Curt Belisle and Jerry (Kim) Belisle; sisters, Loretta Gross and Linda Mellenbruch; numerous relatives and friends.
