Emily "Ruth" Antrim, 99, Homemaker, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Visitation will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 26, 2021, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 7834 W. 29th St. N., Wichita, KS, with service to follow at 3:00 pm. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Arvonia Cemetery, Arvonia, KS. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Flora Hunter; husband, George S. Antrim; granddaughter, Jennifer Woodin; 2 brothers; 3 sisters. Survived by her daughters, Ruth "Jeanine" (Brian) Waters of Haysville, KS, Julie (Mark) Hejtmanek of Bel Aire, KS; brother, Walter (Cecilia) Hunter of Littleton, CO; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. From the earliest memories of family vacations, our family had the annual trek to Kansas to visit relatives. The things I remember about visiting ‘Aunt Ruthie’ are… hot summer nights, cicadas, playing cards, drinking lots of tea, making ice cream, and Aunt Ruthie smiling and asking, “So, what’s going on?”.
