Erik seemed to me to be a delightful man to converse with. He lived in southern California for some time so it was always enjoyable to talk to him about my home state.
It saddens me that he died in such an untimely way—I always saw him as a man with great potential.
Offering prayers for him and you, Katie and Joe.
Sr. Mary Catherine, IHM
Chris, Katie and Joe, and family,
Please know of our prayers for consolation for all of you. Today is the Feast of All Souls day and we are offering our prayers, sacrifices and indulgences on Eric’s behalf. We include your mother and father, Diane and John, in our intentions on this day. We hold the sweet memories of our simple days at St Margaret Mary school as treasures. Like chatting in the long line awaiting the delicious tacos for the annual Mexican dinner. Or running the hallways of the school in excitement, entering and exiting room to room ot Fun Night, holding our sack’s filled with many prizes in our hands. Or Competing for that chair in the first grade/ kindergarten classroom cakewalk. Or belly laughing to the point of tears, at the funny skits from the LAYMEN’s club celebrating Mother’s Day!
May Psalm 23 console each of you!
Carey and Barbara (Walters ) Leonard
When Erik was born, I happen to be staying with Diane and John. I remember holding him the day they brought him home. He always held a special place in my heart. Sending love and prayers to all of those who loved Erik.
