Eusebio “E.R.” Palacio

Palacio, Eusebio “E.R.” 85, passed away after a long illness, Sunday, January 18, 2009. The Rosary will be 8:00 P.M., Friday, January 23 with the Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 24, both at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. E.R. was born and raised in Wichita. He served in the Army during WWII. He worked as a meat packer for Cudahy, retiring after 33 years. E.R. loved family get-togethers, helping organize the Palacio family reunions. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. His faith was very important to him. E.R. was preceded in death by sons, Louis, Jimmy and Patrick, parents, Florencio and Erlinda Palacio, brothers, Andrew, Perfecto, Lalo, Paul, Martin and Victor and sister, Mercedes Chavez. Survivors: his wife of 60 years, Theodora (Lopez) Palacio; sons, Michael A. and Leslie Palacio and Ralph E. and Patty Palacio, all of Wichita; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
