Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I worked with Evelyn at KG&E and am saddened by her death. We used to exchange Birthday Greeting Cards (I think she and I shared May 10th birthdays but I was born in 1921). Prior commitments prevented me from atending her funeral.

  2. Shirley, Just saw Evelyn’s obit on the Iola Register site. Have lots of memories of the two of you and Aunt Oliver together with Mom. I also sent a note to Diana and to my brother in case he didn’t know. Love and prayers to you and to all of Evelyn’s family. Will be in touch by mail after the holiday.

  3. To Gary & Diane – My sympathies to you and your family. I worked with Evelyn at KG&E and always appreciated her quick wit and joy in living. She kept in touch over the years and was so kind to me and my kids. I will always remember Evelyn with a smile and a joke and a kind word for others. May God bless and give you peace.
