Evelyn "Lynn" Mae Zielke

Evelyn "Lynn" Mae Zielke, 97, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2021. She was born April 17, 1923, in Kinsley, Kansas, to L.O. and Eva Turner. She was a graduate of Wichita State University having a degree in business and becoming a CPA at age 52. She worked at Boeing as a secretary, Kansas Diversified Products as a business manager, and Turner and Boisseau as a business Manager. She was devoted to her family. She was an excellent listener and always had words of wisdom to give out. She was a great storyteller and loved to make people laugh. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester; brothers, Ed, H. Lee and Dan Turner. She is survived by her sister, Betty Clodfelter; daughter, Cheryl Myers; son, Steven Lee (Carla) Zielke; grandchildren, Todd Myers, Craig (Sara) Zielke, Melissa (Kyle) Haney and Justin Zielke; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Kenzie, Lincon and Maxwell Zielke, Hudson, Deklin and Finley Haney. Visitation, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Thursday, January 21 at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Private Graveside Service at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, Kansas.
