Survivors: husband, Prisciliano; son, Carmen; daughter, Crystal, all of Wichita; grandchildren, Dante X., Salvador B., Isabela, and Isaiah. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.

To the family of my friend from long ago. My heart ached today when I read the news of Kay’s passing. Even though it has been many years since I have seen my friend, she has been thought of often and always in my heart. I can still close my eyes and see her smile and the sparkle in her eyes when she laughs. We had a lot good times running around in that little yellow VW. She was a true friend in every sense of the word. There when you needed a helping hand, a laugh, or just someone to listen. The last time I saw her, Carmen you were small. The last conversation we had was mostly about her family, how much she loved you both. I regret that life took us on different paths and we lost touch but, I am thankful for memories of a loving, caring friend. The Kay I knew will still be watching over you with her loving heart and hands. With sympathy, Lisa
