						Cox, Frances L., 89, former teacher, homemaker, and artist, died Friday, March 21, 2008. Service, 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 24, Metropolitan Baptist Church. Frances enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, painting, crafts, and traveling. She was a charter member of Metropolitan Baptist Church. Frances was also a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, 20th Century Club, and had received her 50-year member awards from both the Girl Scouts and HDU/FCE. Preceded in death by husband, Harold, and grandson, Kelly. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Kenton and Gloria, David and Donna, Tom and Debi, all of Wichita, Dennis and Debi of Shawnee; daughter, Helen “Marlene” Franklin of Wichita; sister, Marjorie Barker of Baton Rouge, LA; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial established with Kelly Cox Westminster Woods Chapel, c/o Presbytery of Southern Kansas, 3521 W. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS 67203.
