Marek, Frankie Joe, 56, retired civil service employee, died Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Service, 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 19, Hillcrest Cemetery in Derby. Frankie loved raising and caring for his German Shepherds. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Joe, and brother, Brett. Survived by wife, Lorenza; son, Phillip Marek; daughter, Christina Marek; grandson, Hayden Marek, all of Wichita; mother, Greta Marek; sisters, Sharon, Roxanne and Nyree. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

I just found out about Frank. I am so shocked and surprised at his passing. I knew him for years and I am very sorry to hear of his death. I last saw him in April and he was excited about his GSDs and the National. Please accept my sympathy.
