Frank Stoss, Jr.
90, retired Boeing and Learjet avionics technician and lifelong Kansan, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020. No services. Preceded in death by his parents, Nola and Frank Stoss, Sr., and sister, Twila Stevens. Survivors: wife, Doris; daughters, Terri MacKay of Douglass, Donna (Audie) Mathews of South Haven; grandchildren, John, Sean and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Kianah, Kellan, Gage and Montana; numerous nieces and nephews. Doris, I was saddened to read of the passing of Frank. My sincere condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. I have nothing but fond memories of my time working for Frank at the Learjet Service Center. He was my Leadman. I always told Frank, “You taught me everything I know; unfortunately you didn’t teach me everything you know.” I enjoyed listening to him tell stories, especially about your travels to Colorado.
