Freda LaVerne Lawson

Freda LaVerne Lawson, 83, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017, in her home in Goddard. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Curtis F. Lawson. She was born May 29, 1933, near Witter, Arkansas. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Courtney, and husband, John; sons, Kent Lawson, and wife, Judy, Danny Lawson, Dennis Lawson, and wife, Julie; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. LaVerne was retired from Riverside Hospital after more than 25 years of hard, dedicated work in the dietary department. She enjoyed her family, dolls, collecting old lace and quilts. Visitation with the family, 5-7 p.m., Thursday, February 16, Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. A private graveside service will be held.
