Heather Rondholz
Frederick William Rondholz, 86, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas. He was born August 16, 1939, in Weehawken, New Jersey.
Fred proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 26 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. While he valued his military service, he was most proud of his role as a husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ann Elaine Rondholz; his children, Christopher Rondholz and his wife Emily, Dawn Rondholz, Beth Schutte and her husband Clint, and Heather Rondholz; and his sisters, Anna M. Baber and Linda Canner. He is also survived by seven grandchildren who brought him great pride and joy.
Fred was a private man who valued family, loyalty, and quiet kindness. He was a good friend to those who knew him and, above all, a truly good man who will be deeply missed.
Private Family Services to be held.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.

Mr.Rondholz is a good man that loved his family…..may he rest in peace. -
From the first day Fred walked into our house, I knew he was a special guy. I was overjoyed when he became my brother-in-law. Over the years, I came to love in as the brother I never had. He will truly be missed. -

I’ve always had the utmost respect and admiration for Uncle Fred. Just a great guy, and I will sincerely miss him. We should all be so blessed to live a long life as great as his.
