Gail Brotko, 62, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died Saturday, September 14, 2019. Celebration of Life at a later date. Preceded in death by her husband, Mark Corrie Brotko. Survived by her daughter, Holly (Tom) Cool of Wichita; son, Joseph Brotko of Andover, KS; grandchildren, Matthew, Aidan, Balor, Logan, Corey. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

Mark and I were stationed onboard USS Simpson together. Gail would come and visit Mark often and bring the kids (Holly and Joseph). The entire family was very nice and although the kids were small, they were joy to play with. Mark and Gail strongly believed in friendships and even after I left the Simpson they stayed in touch. I will always remember her kindness and beautiful smile. I would like to think that Gail and Mark are together again, pain free and wanting all of us to know that everything is going to be alright. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
