Gary Prothro, 75, Retired Social Worker for Via Christi and devoted husband, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Gary loved his wife of 41 years and his family. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Bette Prothro; wife, Ann Prothro; son, Aaron Prothro; sisters, Connie Jimeson, Myrna Prothro; brother, Mickey Prothro. Survived by his sons, Jeff (Leighann) Prothro of De Soto, KS, Travis (Jaime) Prothro of Tacoma, WA, Brett (Marathana) Prothro of Bluffton, OH; 5 grandchildren.
