  1. To the George Blume Family I was saddened to read of George’s passing. Please accept my best wishes and sincere sympathy for the Blume family. In 1926, the Bruce Taylor family moved to 411 N. Yale next door to George and Clara Blume. It was there that we met George and Clara and later the two children. George made many wonderful accomplishments in his life for which you can be very proud. I am two years older than George and still live at 411 N. Yale at age 83. I am the only one left on the block that lived here from 1927. Since it is difficult for me to walk to attend the service, I would appreciate it if the family or the mortuary would send to me the funeral program that will be given at the service. Most sincerely Betty Kathryn Taylor 411 N. Yale 685-7673 Sent by Betty’s friend, Delores Ann Moon, 686-1470. I met Clara and a grandson on a European trip in 1977 or 78.

  2. We have known George and Shirley through Health Strategies for several years. Please accept our sympathy for your loss. PLEASE READ TO SHIRLEY: Shirley we still keep your bicycle seat warm for you even though you haven’t been there for awhile. We miss seeing you and your big hug! Do know we understand and send our love. If we can be of assistance please contact us. Delva and Paul Powers
