Cook, Gerald D. “Dean”, retired Coleman Company fork lift operator, died Friday, January 4, 2008. Memorial service, 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 8, Douglas Avenue Assembly of God. Survivors: wife, Roberta; sons, Michael (Noreen) Cook, Richie Cook, David Cook, Shawn (Deborah) Stout, all of Wichita; daughters, Kathy (Kirt) Underwood of New Port, NC, Karen (Russell) Peacock of Wichita; brother, Richard (Linda) Cook of Wichita; sister, Rose (John) Dery of Andover; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; multiple extended family. Memorial established with Douglas Avenue Assembly of God, 4501 W. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67209. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.

Roberta, I don’t know if you remember me but I work at Coleman. I am very sorry to see the passing of Dean. He was a great guy and lots of fun to work with. Please take some joy in the fact that he has been gone from here for quite a while and is still remembered and liked. May God bless you and all of your family, I know you all will miss him terribly.
