Jerry loved his grandchildren more than anything! He taught them so much! I will always remember his kind smile and fun personality and him always shooting skeet with his grandson Kyle and cheating at Old Maid with his granddaughter Carrie!
So sorry to hear about the loss of Jerry from us, but there is some comfort that he is now with Steve and Brad in Heaven. I met Brad in the 6th grade at Pickerington Middle school and we became great friends enjoying fishing, hunting, and good olde fashion mischievous fun. Our friendship led to becoming great friends with all the Kallaus family as they were generous and loving of others. I spent lots of time hanging out at the Kallaus’s house as did a lot of Greg’s, Steve’s and Brad’s friends. My favorite memories of Jerry was our fishing trip to Oswego, New York and watching Jerry fight a giant king salmon, Our fishing trip to the Maumee River fishing for walleyes, and of coarse skeet shooting getting ready for pheasant season. I can only imagine Jerry, Steve, and Brad all enjoying these things once again.
