Do, Giang “John” Van, 57, CNH welder, died Monday, April 14, 2008. Rosary, 7:30 P.M., Friday, April 18; Service, 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 19, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Preceded in death by parents, Quynh and Chin Do; sisters, Thao and Hoi Do. Survivors: wife, Nga “Rachel” Thi Nguyen; children, Khoi Duy Do, Tan (Melissa) Duy Do, Trang “Crystal” Thien Do, Kim-Anh Thi Do, all of Wichita; brother, Hau Do; sisters, Canh and Hoa Do, all of Vietnam; three grandchildren, Maisy, Chase and Mallory Thien. Memorials to Nga Nguyen, (for his family in Vietnam), 3102 N. Pepper Ridge, Wichita, KS 67205. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.
