Gladys Harriette Bever

Gladys Harriette Bever, was called home to God on Thursday, November 6, 2014. Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 22 at Riverside Christian Church. Burial will be in Wheatland, California. Gladys was born July 30, 1910 at Wheatland, California to Amasa George Oakley and Harriette Amy Leet Beilby, the sixth of seven children. In 1928 she married Rev. H. Cecil Bever. Their children were George, Howard and Gail. A pastors wife, she served God as a youth counselor, church secretary, choir director and womens group leader and officer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, all her siblings and son, George. She is survived by Gail Cunning of Norman, OK, Howard Bever of Wichita and many grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.
