Thrasher, Glen C., 94, of Wichita, died Sunday, March 23, 2008. Glen was a self employed Petroleum Geologist. Services will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 3, at Downing Lahey East Mortuary. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret L. Thrasher of Cheverly, MD. Glen was preceded in death by parents, wife, Bernice and sisters, Ruth Osborne and Lucille Wieting. Memorial donations may be made to: Kansas Geological Society, 212 N. Market, Wichita, KS, 67202 or the American Red Cross Midway Kansas Chapter, 1900 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS, 67214.

Margaret, I was so sorry to read of your father’s recent death. I had planned to attend the services but due to other appointments, it was impossible. I have often thought of you and wondered what you are doing. Tom and I are both retired. I taught here in Wichita at a private school for 15 years. I waited until our children were in their teens to return to teaching. Hope all is well with you and would love to hear. Again my sympathy.
