Glenn Ehling

Ehling, Glenn, 92, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014. He was born October 26, 1921 in Abbyville, Ks. He began working at Beech Aircraft at the age of 18 and his 47 years of service there was only interrupted by his time as a B17 ball turret gunner during WWII. He ultimately retired from Beech as Executive Vice-President. Visitation with the Family will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Sunday, September 14, 2014, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 15, 2014, at Andover United Methodist Church. Graveside services follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Ehling. Survived by his daughters, Linda (Fred) Reiter, Nancy (Dennis) Hanson, Vickie (Vince) Krehbiel; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Andover United Methodist Church, 1429 N. Andover Rd., Andover, KS 67002.
