  1. This was the last picture of my father and I in Okinawa 2018. I will always cherish our travels and the lessons of karate & life in general. I miss you dad. I know your in heaven putting together your karate class. I love you.

    • Glenn was my friend and Sensei and helped me become a black belt at age 25. I looked up to him and saw him as a father to me even though I had a great Dad my Dad and him where childhood friends. I saw him last year around Memorial day and me and him in my truck spoke for over two hours. I didnt know he had passed and my heart was broken finding out. Thank you Glenn for teaching me how to handle myself throughout Junior High and High School. Things he taunt me kept me out of trouble and also how to handle a fight. Love you Glenn and will truly miss you

  2. We started down the road together with Sensei Tom Joyce. From there Glenn excelled. 46 years later I still called him Sensei.

  3. Leeann, John, James Karolyn, Phyllis and family, May our great and awesome God grant you all comfort at this time. Always enjoyed chatting with Glenn when meeting in Wichita. RIP 2nd cousin. Jim & Cathie Jantz

  4. I am so sorry to hear about Glenn’s passing. Glenn was instrumental in helping the Martial Arts community thrive in Wichita and he was a very good man. I have many good memories of conversations with Glenn at tournaments and I learned a lot from watching him and others lead their students by example. Glenn will be missed greatly. My thoughts are with his family and his fellow Karate-ka at this time.

  5. Glenn was a my sensei during a very hard time in my life. He gave me a lot of personal support as well as karate instruction. He always cared for all his students and I feel lucky to have known him and his family. To say he will be missed in this world is an understatement. I hold few people in as high of regard as I do Glenn Goertz. RIP my friend and mentor.

  6. Lee Ann John and Jim just want you to know that I’m thinking of you and prayering for you in this very hard time my peace be with all of your family 👪🙏
