Gloria J. Conner
Conner, Gloria J., 69, retired Wesley Medical Center employee, died Monday, August 22, 2005, after suffering with pulmonary fibrosis. Memorial service 10:00 A.M., Friday, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by her husband, Clair V. Conner. Survivors: sons and daughter-in-law, Kent and Colette Conner and Kelly Conner, all of Wichita; daughter and son-in-law, Julia and Chet Pinkston of Haysville, KS; grandchildren, Hawley Forster, Briana, Zachary and Annie Conner, Savannah and Tiffany Pinkston; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Forster. Memorials have been established with Total HomeCare and Hospice, 250 W. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67202 and Kansas Humane Society, 4218 S.E. Blvd, Wichita, KS, 67210.

To the family of Gloria, I would like you to know what a great co-worker and friend she was. Gloria and I started at Wesley at about the same time. She was such a good listener, a quality that alot of people just don’t have. I know you know how special she was,just know that I realize it too. We often talked, so take comfort in knowing how much her family meant to her. When I last talked to her she told me about her new ‘beautiful, blond, curly haired great-grandaughter.’ She was so proud! I will miss her kind spirit!
