    • Greg was a year ahead of me at SE high school in Wichita KS, we first met in an explorer scout post bass club and became friends for life. Greg was my only taxidermist through the years and we joked about me keeping him in business lol, he did a lot of taxidermy work for me in the 45+ years we knew each other, I will dearly miss him as a life long friend as will many others! RIP Greg, love you friend!

  1. Uncle Greg was always up for an adventure. Incredibly fun memories of him teaching me how to fish crappie, hunt turkeys, white tail deer and a few frogs. Turkey hunting near Moline, KS hosted and planned by uncle Greg with my father Charles Wright are forever cherished. Later on in life I will never forget harvesting my 1st white tail buck and then skinning it in his Moline, KS taxidermy shop. In Greg’s outgoing way I was taking too long and then he taught me how to skin faster.

He was a hard working man and loved to share memories and stories of the good times. An avid outdoorsmen is an understatement, as his weekly routine included fishing. He told me how he enjoyed helping populate most of the ponds/lakes around Moline with fish. Literally, he would put them in a cooler, drive to another pond/lake and let them loose. I believe he worked to repopulate fish to all the local area ponds/lakes near Moline, so that he had more places to go fishing. I am forever grateful to have Greg as my uncle. Love, Cary Wright

  2. Greg leased cabin to me for over 25 years on the lake where he lived in Moline we fished together all over Elk County sometimes all day and come back to the cabins and have a cold one or two setting on the deck overlooking the lake and he loved watching the full moon rise up over the Dam. I was also able to share these times with my Wife and Grandkids, nephew & nieces who will never forget Greg or those great cabin adventures. thanks Greg and rest in peace.

  3. Greg and I had many years of fishing & hunting. As a fellow Eagle Scout we shared the love of the Scout Ranch and the flint hills in SE , Kansas . He also loved John Wayne movies. RIP, I will miss you!
