Gretchen Matthews

Gretchen Matthews, 83, loving mother, grandmother and friend, passed away quietly Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Originally from Ft Collins, CO, she lived most of her life in the Dundee area. She was once Village Clerk for Sleepy Hollow, and was a longtime volunteer for both the Dundee Township Historical Society and the League of Women Voters. Private Family Services are planned. Preceded in death by her parents, Dudley and Orlie Glick; her sister, Marianna Gipe; and grandson, Jason Collins. Survived by her daughters, Michelle (Robert) Neal of Lake Worth, FL, Kendra (Jeff) Johnson of Wichita, KS; son, Kevin (Kim) Matthews of Roseburg, OR; Brothers, David (Carolyn) Glick, and Frank (LeeAnn) Glick; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
