Harlyn was a perfect cosmetologist and Norma was right there with him . My mom Esther Howard ( at the time ) was in cosmetology school with them or they were her teachers …. that memory is vague now . So the “ in” hair style at the time was a pixie . I had “long beautiful” hair at the time and became my mother’s practice customer. I had” no say” in the matter just sat still and she cut “ ALL” my hair off … she may of left an inch or so with long bangs to the side . Then she went and found Harlyn and he inspected her work and trimmed some more of my beautiful long hair off and then here came Norma . Norma inspected the pixie hair cut and trimmed a little too! I belive the year book of mine and Layna’s 7 th grade picture shows my beautiful pixie just fine . I’m the one with the orange dress homemade by my granny and the pixie ( newest style in Neody ) haircut perfected by none other than Harlyn Knight.Layna I hope this memory makes you and Norma giggle a little and lessons your sadness for just a secound .
Layna, Joe, and Michael, We were so sorry to hear of your father’s passing. Our deepest condolences, Gary, Toni, & Alex Maycher
