Harold Edward Brotherton
87, went to Heaven on the wings of angels on September 10, 2018, after a brief illness. Harold was born on August 22, 1931, in Kahoka, Missouri, to Clarence and Anna Brotherton. He was the youngest of four children. Harold was a farmer, then went on to be a pressman. He married his sweetheart, Anna L. Johnson, on January 22, 1950. They had two children, Ricky and Teresa. They moved to Wichita in August of 1960. He worked for Service Business Forms for 36 years and retired in 1996. Harold really enjoyed going to his cabin at Table Rock Lake and also enjoyed woodworking and building grandfather clocks. He was so proud of his three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is survived by his bride of 68 years, Anna; son, Ricky (Jeanie); daughter, Teresa (Jack Mitera); grandchildren, Neely (Kevin Bordegon) of Kansas City, KS, Laura (Mike Church) of Wichita and Lance Branum of Corpus Christi, TX; great-grandchildren, Louella, Georgia and Kinsy Kate Bordegon and Kendric Edward Church; special friend, Diane Ally, and many nieces, nephews and precious friends. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Harry Hynes Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, September 29, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.

I worked with HB under his supervision for years at the printing plant… He was always very caring and worked well with everyone. Loved him dearlymy heart goes out to his family in this time of sorrow

i will always remember Harold as a kind gentleman with a warm smile and humble spirit. I feel blessed to serve Harold and Jack in my barbershop. I will miss his kind manners and smiling face.
