Harold Koehler

Koehler, Harold Eugene, 83, retired Wichita Police Captain, retired US Army Reserve, former Federal Court Security Officer, VA Hospital volunteer , life member of the VFW, member of the Kansas Peace Officers Association, and Air Capital Gun Club, died Friday, June 21, 2013. Rosary service 7:00 P.M Monday, June 24, and Funeral Mass, 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 25, both at Church of the Magdalen. Burial will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum. Harold was born June 14, 1930 in Wanette, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Henry and Mabel Koehler; sister, Betty Johnson; brother, Charles Koehler. Harold is survived by his wife, Mary Frances (Schaeffer), of the home; children, Steve (Beth), of Andover, Tom, of Wichita, Tim (Joanie), of Wichita, Dan (Elizabeth), of Minneapolis, MN, and Mary Hastings, of El Dorado; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
