Johnston, Helen Elizabeth Majors Ferrell, 84, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010. Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 24, at St. Johns Episcopal Church. Helen was a member of Domesticats, the Episcopal Church, Phi Kappa Psi Sorority (now Gamma Phi Beta), and volunteered at the Book and Art Fair and the Wichita Art Museum. Survivors: husband Max; children, Mark Eric Ferrell (Yolly) of Carthage, MO, James Todd Ferrell (Carol) of Clive, IA and Erin Jane Ferrell Johnson (Dave) of Tulsa, OK; brother, Samuel Majors (Winnie) of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Jane Elizabeth, Kenneth James, Peter Samuel and Alexandra Morales; 4 stepchildren. Memorials have been established with St. Johns Episcopal Church, 402 N. Topeka, Wichita, KS, 67202 and the Wichita Art Museum, 1400 W. Museum Blvd, Wichita, KS, 67203. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
