My Aunt Lucille Even though separated by many miles for most of our life, I remember Aunt Lucille in so many ways. She was and is an inspiration and a fresh air memory to Neleen and myself. To list a few of the many good times and remembrances: She was the beautiful girlfriend of my Uncle that I admired as a high school boy and I dreamed of finding a girl like her for myself. She was not only beautiful but I remember her upbeat personality and wonderful giggle She was the nervous mother of the flower girl at our wedding. Janet was so dedicated to her job that she wanted to drop each flower petal one at a time. She along with her family spent a portion of a Christmas holiday in Albuquerque where we did some skiing at Red River. I will always remember how she enjoyed her children in this fun setting. I believe it was their first exposure to skiing. It sure took with John and for a whole lifetime. She was always so pleasant and wonderful to be around. Her face and body language always told me more than her modest words. She was loyal and in total support of her husband and children which served as an example for me and also for all that knew her. I am ten years younger than my Aunt but when compared to the effect of her life’s Journey of influence on others I am miles short of her accomplishment. Kenneth Harper
