Helen Maxine (Pringle) Parzybok, 95, passed into the arms of her Lord on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Friends and family are invited to a service celebrating her life to be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 10:30 A.M., at Mission Chapel Mausoleum (Old Mission Cemetery) on East 21st Street. Helen Maxine was born on September 29, 1921 in Wichita to Kenneth and Cecile Pringle and was accompanied by an identical twin, Mary Alice Morozzo, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Francis Parzybok; daughter, Marilyn Irene Parzybok; and a brother, Kenneth W. Pringle. Helen Maxine is survived by her son, Craig, and his wife, Terri, of Golden CO; daughter, Laurie, of Lakewood, CO; grandson, Lance, and his wife, Kailly, and great-grandchildren, Natalie and Dawson, of Castle Rock, CO; grandson, Kyle, and his wife, Whitney, and great-grandson, Kaden, of Arvada, CO; sister-in-law, Ruth Pringle, of Wichita; and many nieces and nephews. Helen Maxine graduated from North High School and received her social sciences degree from the University of Kansas. After graduation from KU in 1943, she and her twin lived in New York City where they fulfilled a number of concert and church appearances. She married her loving husband of 58 years, Sam, in 1944. Helen Maxine taught for 25 years in the Wichita Public School System. She received much recognition for her dedication and service to many organizations of her interests. She was a member of the DAR, Alpha Delta Pi sorority, Phi Beta Kappa, the McConnell Retired Officers Wives, Grace Presbyterian Church choir, Project Beauty, and she continued her support of education by a decade of attending WSU adult education classes in Political Science.
