Helen Roberta “Bobbe” Rosell, 89, Retired Secretary of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, died Sunday, April 14, 2024. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, April 23, 2024; Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 24, 2024, both at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Dorothy Roche; husband, Franklin Rosell; daughter, Alison Smeltzer; son, James Rosell.Survived by her sons, Kevin Rosell, Paul Rosell, Jeff Rosell, Brian Rosell; son-in-law, Scott Smeltzer; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Alice Sirimarco. Bobbe Rosell was Bishop Eugene Gerber’s first parish secretary, a job she loved. Several Blessed Sacrament priests became dear family friends. A memorial has been established with: Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 124 N. Roosevelt, Wichita, KS 67208. Services in care of Downing and Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
