Henrietta Henson

Henson, Henrietta A., 93, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2012. She was born January 1, 1919 to Joe Trounear and Rose Trounear Root in St. John, Kansas. Henrietta worked as an office manager at Kansas Cinder Block for over 15 years. She loved doing search a words and attending the various dances at Boston and Linwood Recreation Centers. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David, in 1990; brothers, Erving Trounear and Wallace Trounear, and sister, Mildred Jacobs. Henrietta is survived by her son, Lonnie L. Jones, and his wife, Janette; grandchildren, Julie Jerry of TX, Sharon Kleven of CA, Richard Jones of MN, Tonya Kerby, Windy Love and Brandon Kerby all of Wichita; numerous great-grandchildren. A private service has been held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
