Herbert D. “Herb” Leffingwell, D.D.S., 82, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Memorial Service, 11 a.m., Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Herb was born May 17, 1930 in Goodland, Kansas. He was preceded in death by parents, Harold and Vivian (Johnson) Leffingwell, and son, Bruce Leffingwell. Survivors: wife, Marilyn; son, David Leffingwell of Meriden; daughter, Jennifer Ironwing (Clem) of Wichita; stepchildren, Anthony Ware of Lawrence, Geoff Ware (Teena) and Roxanne Filby (Jeff) of Lincoln, NE, Bruce Jones (Chris) of Olathe; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Jim Leffingwell (Lee) of Walpole, MA, Larry Leffingwell (Martha) of Winter Haven, FL and Linda Penner (Merv) of Olathe.
