I did not know Herb personally, but know he must have been quite an amazing man as is evident to me in the wonderful son he raised. I know he will be severely missed by his whole family. My wish for all who knew him well, is peace in the memories you have in the best of times with him. I pray those memories will always bring you joy. Pat Halverson
Herb reached out to me during our lock downs due to the pandemic. I thought it was one of the nicest things. We got to know each better and will always appreciate his thoughtfulness!
Fair winds and following seas sailor. “Boatswain… Standby to pipe the side… Shipmate’s going Ashore…” Thank you for Herbert your service to this nation. U.S. Navy.
I served with Herb on the Board for the Wichita Chapter of the KSCPA. He was a brilliant CPA and fine gentleman. He had a very calm demeanor in all our meetings.
I’m a year late hearing the news about Herbert, it’s kind of ironic I was thinking about him and it’s almost been a year since he passed. I was one of the nurses who took care of him during Covid in 2020. He was such a sweet and funny man and I really enjoyed knowing him in the time I cared for him. I also enjoyed knowing his family, especially his son and namesake. I’m sad to hear of his passing, but know that he is in a good place.
